RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

As a growing Neuroscience Lab, we are currently looking to expand our team.  Please get in touch with any questions about the application process, or submit your CV and cover letter describing your past acomplishments and future goals to apply.

We currently have open positions for enthusiastic scientists - post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduates with interests related to synaptic plasticity, mechanisms of neurodegeneration, and sleep to join our team. You will join the interdisciplinary and highly collaborative department of Neuroscience in the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute at WVU. Ample opportunities exist to use state-of-the-art STED super-resolution microscopy, two-photon microscopy, and other exciting approaches to investigate synaptic function and dysfunction. 


  • The candidates will work closely with Dr. Hruska and will also interact with other faculty in the department. Dr. Hruska is committed to supporting students and fellows in their chosen research careers. This includes opportunities to present at national and international meetings, submitting competitive applications for fellowships and external grant funding.
